About what I expected. My room was nice and big. The bed is very firm but I still slept comfortably. There is a nice big shower in my room. The towels are rather scratchy. The employees were nice to me. I was glad that they spoke good English because I do not speak much Spanish. I would probably stay here again if I was to come back to this location.
My friend and I wanted to stay in a hotel near Estadio Azteca so we booked Holiday Inn Mexico Medica Sur. I should have had looked more into this hotel because I never realized it was part of the hospital, which I think is pretty cool for family and friends visiting loved ones. We arrived early and were greeted by front desk who kindly told us to wait until our room was ready. The room was very clean and looked great. However, there was a lingering smell we just could not put our finger on and the AC did not go on any higher to ventilate. My friend and I got ready and walked to Estadio Azteca which was only about a 30 minute walk. When we returned to our room, I decided I needed a shower but the water remained cold no matter what I did to change the knobs. Otherwise, we had a good night's sleep. It's a very calm, tranquil and comfortable hotel.
Pleasantly surprised by this hotel.. the highlight was definitely the room, which I suspect was the nicest of the lot. Spacious, with contemporary design, and floor to ceiling windows with great views. This is as nice as it get's for Holiday Inn. The hotel itself is very strange, as it is located inside a hospital complex. It can be difficult for taxi drivers to navigate, although it is signed fairly well. There is a 24-hour Starbucks in the complex nearby, and is fairly safe at night. Breakfast was OK; the 'restaurant' lacked any character or ambiance whatsoever, but again the view was certainly nice. The only negative aspect of my stay was the live band and fireworks that started at 6 AM, very close to the hotel. I'm not even making this up. That made sleep difficult, but I can't really blame the hotel for that. 7/10
Great hotel, affordable,large and clean rooms and fast internet connection (40Mbps/25Mbps). It was built inside a VIP medical complex (hospital), if it's not a problem for you go ahead, totally worth it.

Very clean. Staff were very accommodating. Bone up on your Spanish 99% speak no English. Safe, connected to a hospital. Not near any shopping etc.
Always clean, staff nice and helpful. It has a small gym so you can workout without paying extra. The cost per night is expensive, considering that doesn't include a meal or anything else that the room and the use of the little gym. They have a restaurant there but it's independent. This is a Wings restaurant, and is OK, you can get a good meal but also is expensive for what you get.
